Denim YAYA

Denim

Denim is a strong twill fabric with a raw cotton base. Denim obtains its blue color from being dipped in an indigo dye bath. The washing of denim provides various effects.

Wash garments inside out as much as possible and wash delicate fabrics in a laundry bag. For colored garments, use a colored laundry detergent. White detergent may contain bleach and can only be used for pure white laundry. Certainly during the first washes, garments can give off color, so only wash with similar colors.

Tumble dryers use a lot of energy, can shrink your garment and cause faster wear. Dry your garment as much as possible on a drying rack with indirect sunlight. This is not only more sustainable, but you can also enjoy your garments for longer.

The washing instructions described are guidelines for the materials in their purest form. Before washing your garment, always check the washing label on the inside of the garment first.

Wash denim as little as possible to maintain its original color. Denim can shrink during the first washes, so wash at a maximum of 30 degrees on a delicate wash program. Wash with liquid detergent and turn the denim inside out to avoid white streaks during the spin cycle.

Hang denim to dry inside out and make sure it is wrinkle-free as much as possible. Some denim qualities can be put in a tumble dryer at a low temperature.

Denim is heat resistant and can be ironed inside out on the highest setting with steam. It is not necessary to iron a denim if it is to be hung out after washing.

Denim can be treated with specific stain remover applied directly to the stain. Do not soak for too long. Rinse manually and then wash as directed.
